Terms and Conditions

2. Consent for Communications

2.1 Text and Call Communications: By engaging our services, you expressly consent to receive communications from St. Michael Electric LLC via text messages and phone calls to the contact information you provide. These communications may include, but are not limited to, appointment scheduling, service updates, billing information, customer support, and promotional offers.

2.2 Opt-Out: You may opt out of text message communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message received or by contacting us directly at [(5. You may also request to stop receiving phone calls by notifying us in writing.

2.3 Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply as per your mobile carrier’s plan. St. Michael Electric LLC is not responsible for any charges incurred.

2.4 Not a Condition of Service: Consent to receive communications is not a condition of purchasing or receiving our services.

3. Consent for Electrical Work

3.1 Authorization: By engaging St. Michael Electric LLC, you authorize us to perform electrical work on your property as agreed upon in the service agreement, quote, or work order. This includes, but is not limited to, installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems.

3.2 Scope of Work: All work performed by St. Michael Electric LLC will comply with the regulations and standards of the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are fully licensed and insured to perform electrical services within the state.

3.3 Limitations: St. Michael Electric LLC will not perform any work outside the scope of Virginia state regulations or beyond the services for which we are licensed.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

4.1 Collection and Use: St. Michael Electric LLC collects personal information (e.g., name, phone number, address, email) solely for the purpose of providing services, communicating with you, and maintaining business records.

4.2 Confidentiality: We are committed to keeping your personal information private. We will not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, except as required by law or to fulfill the services requested.

4.3 Data Deletion: At your written request, St. Michael Electric LLC will delete your personal information from our records, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., tax or warranty records). 5. Licensed and Insured

St. Michael Electric LLC is a fully licensed and insured electrical contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including general liability and workers’ compensation, to protect you and our team during service delivery.

6. Scope of Work and Limitations

6.1 Compliance: All electrical work performed by St. Michael Electric LLC adheres strictly to the regulations and codes set forth by the Commonwealth of Virginia, including the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and National Electrical Code (NEC) as adopted by the state.

6.2 No Unauthorized Work: We will not undertake any work outside the scope of our licensing or beyond what is permitted under Virginia law. Any additional work beyond the agreed-upon scope will require your prior approval.

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1 You agree to provide accurate information, including contact details and property access instructions, to facilitate service delivery.

7.2 You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the work area and informing us of any known hazards on the property.

7.3 Payment for services is due as outlined in the service agreement or invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Liability and Warranties

8.1 Limitation of Liability: St. Michael Electric LLC is not liable for damages caused by factors beyond our control, including pre-existing conditions, improper use of electrical systems, or failure to follow our recommendations.

8.2 Warranties: We provide warranties on our workmanship and materials as specified in the service agreement. Any manufacturer warranties on equipment or parts are subject to the terms provided by the manufacturer.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. You remain responsible for payment for any services completed prior to termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Virginia.
